Autoflush
Autoflush is a multi-purpose catheter accessory; a closed needleless I.V. system permitting blood sampling, intermittent injection or continuous infusion of fluids or medications. Autoflush features a male Luer-lock distal end and a female Luer-lock proximal end.Autoflush has an easily disinfectable plunger (disinfection must be performed before and after use) that automatically closes when the infusion line or syringe has been disconnected.Autoflush can be connected to all intravenous devices comprising a female Luer-lock hub (catheters, ramps of stopcocks, stopcocks, extension tubes, Huber needles used with implantable ports...). On Autoflush, it is possible to connect all intravenous devices comprising a male Luer or male Luer-lock end (syringes, infusion sets...).Autoflush is a Male/Female Luer device that features a positive displacement of fluid during disconnection of the Male Luer devices connected to it, to prevent catheter occlusion.
