Indication
Central venous access for short-term (up to 29 days) or long-term (> 29 days) IV therapy. For administration of parenteral nutrition, antibiotics, chemotherapy, IV medication, fluids or drugs for pain management, for blood withdrawal for pressure injection of contrast media.

High Pressure injectable:
Lifecath CT PICC Maestro is compatible with high pressure injection up to 5 mL/s (300 psi).
A reverse tapered catheter:
The Lifecath CT PICC Maestro catheter is reverse tapered on its proximal end to prevent bleeding at the insertion site.
Wide range:
The Lifecath CT PICC Maestro is available in four catheter sizes: 3Fr, 4Fr, 5Fr and 6Fr, in one, two or three lumens. To meet the needs of different types of placers and their insertion technique, there are several kit configurations:
- Nursing with 45 cm guidewire
- Basic with 70 cm guidewire
- IR with 130 cm guidewire

Catheter:
- Biocompatible polyurethane
- Length: 60 cm
- Radiopaque
- Extension line color: transparent
- Compatible with high-pressure contrast media injections up to 5 ml/s and 300 psi
- Graduated markings every 5 cm
- Tapered design to minimize post-insertion bleeding
- Contoured fixation wings with diameter and catheter type identification (PICC)

Insertion Kit Contents:
- Braided guidewire with safety system to prevent displacement during catheter insertion
- 21G – 7 cm safety needle with echogenic tip (Nursing kit) or 21G – 7 cm non-safety needle with safety cap (Standard and IR kits)
- 21G – 5 cm non-safety needle (only in 3Fr – 1L and 4Fr – 2L)
- Peelable PTFE microintroducer:
o 10 cm (for 4Fr – 1L, 5Fr – 1L/2L, 6Fr – 2L/3L in IR kits)
o 7 cm (for standard kits and other combinations)
- 0.018" straight nitinol guidewire with locking system and enhanced tip for X-ray visibility. Insertion markings allow visual confirmation when the guidewire has passed the needle tip and entered the vessel lumen. Lengths: 45 cm (nursing kit), 70 cm (standard kit), and 130 cm (IR kit).
- 10 mL Luer Lock syringe
