A new milestone in the European rollout of Stiletto®, a solution designed to address evolving vascular access practices and the growing need for longer-dwell access.
Following the acquisition of Stiletto® in February 2026, Vygon has reached a new milestone with the CE marking of the device, alongside authorization from the MHRA in the UK, paving the way for its rollout in several European countries.
Stiletto® is an extended-dwell peripheral catheter designed for courses of treatment lasting an average of less than 28 days. It features SlipStream™, a patented insertion technology designed to replace the standard Seldinger technique. By eliminating the need for a metal guidewire and reducing the number of insertion steps, the technology offers a simpler, more reliable technique, while providing significant clinical benefits for patients.
With Stiletto®, Vygon further strengthens its peripheral catheter portfolio and continues its commitment to providing healthcare professionals with safe, intuitive solutions that address evolving vascular access practices.
