A new milestone in the European rollout of Stiletto, a solution designed to address evolving vascular access practices and the growing need for longer-dwell access.
Following the acquisition of Stiletto in February 2026, Vygon has reached a new milestone with the CE marking of the device, alongside authorization from the MHRA in the UK, paving the way for its rollout in several European countries.
Stiletto is an extended-dwell peripheral catheter designed for courses of treatment lasting an average of less than 29 days. It features SlipStream™, a patented insertion technology designed to replace the standard Seldinger technique. By eliminating the need for a metal guidewire and reducing the number of insertion steps, the technology offers a simpler, more reliable technique, while providing significant clinical benefits for patients.
With Stiletto, Vygon further strengthens its peripheral catheter portfolio and continues its commitment to providing healthcare professionals with safe, intuitive solutions that address evolving vascular access practices.
