At our headquarters in Ecouen and in our subsidiaries and plants, we stay closely tuned to the changing aspirations of our employees, and we strive to improve their well-being at work.
This means, for example, offering alternative forms of transport for employees, such as a free shuttle between VYGON headquarters and the nearest train station. In our car parks, employees have access to electric charging stations to charge their electric vehicles free. In some southern European countries such as Portugal, solar panels have been installed in car parks to shelter vehicles from the heat and produce our own electricity.
For the well-being of our employees, we offer the option of working from home if it is compatible with their job, and beyond that, we are committed to providing a peaceful, comfortable work environment. Our headquarters are located outside Paris, surrounded by a large, wooded park. The various buildings fit seamlessly into an area of parkland, and some of them have eco-design features such as a green roof, wooden structure and environmentally friendly energy and water management.
We regularly invite our employees to take part in the life of the company through a host of events and activities directly linked to our business, such as seminars, international congresses and world health days, and, on a different note, sporting and fun activities organized by the staff councils.
