Vygon celebrates the World Prematurity Day!
Initiated by our partner – the European Foundation for the Care of Newborn Infants (EFCNI, http://www.efcni.org/), the World Prematurity Day – on Nov. 17th – is the occasion to raise awareness and to improve the treatment and care of all premature babies on an international scale.
The EFCNI is the first pan-European organization and network to represent the interests of preterm and newborn infants and their families. It gathers together parents, healthcare experts from different disciplines and scientists with the common goal of improving long-term health of preterm and newborn children. Its vision is to ensure the best start in life for every baby. With its activities, the EFCNI wants to reduce preterm birth rates, ensure the best possible treatment, care, and support and to improve the long-term health of preterm infants and newborns with illnesses.
As EFCNI bronze partner, Vygon strongly celebrates the World Prematurity Day this year again.
In order to give the best care to premature infants, Vygon creates innovative medical devices. Thanks to their expertise in Neonatology, Vygon’s team succeeds to organize events for this celebration day around the world and through its subsidiaries, distributors and partners.
For this 9th World Prematurity Day, several countries (France, Spain, USA, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, Philippines, Indonesia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Nicaragua, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Scandinavia, South Africa, Turkey…) coordinated varied activities. Grown-up preterms, families of premature babies, healthcare professionals and members of healthcare foundations are invited to this celebration. Attendees will be able to discuss and share their experience and testimonies.
Vygon’s values – involvement, integrity, open-mindedness, research improvement and respect – are at the heart of the medical devices manufacture. Every day, babies are growing up in good conditions thanks to the love of their parents and families, the care of medical staff and the innovative aspect of medical devices. Let’s celebrate them and their fight, as well as all stakeholders in this care!
