Neurafit™ epidural set

Mini-set for epidural anaesthesia containing:

• 1 NRFit Tuohy needle 18G - 80mm long. with plastic transparent hub and removable wings - Plastic stylet.

The needle has graduations every centimeter. The transparent hub allows to quickly visualize an accidental reflux of blood or of CSF.

• 1 transparent PEBA catheter (not radiopaque), 20G, closed distal end with 3 lateral eyes. The catheter has markings every centimeter from 5 to 20 cm and a black mark at the distal end to ensure that the entire catheter has been withdrawn.

A catheter guide which connects onto the Tuohy needle facilitates the insertion of the catheter in the epidural space.
The non radiopaque catheter is more flexible to better meet the clinician’s needs. 

• 1 NRFIT connector type "Nexus" with pre-mounted filter 0.2 μm. Filter surface area: 5,25 cm², priming volume: 0.3ml, pressure resistance: 5.2 bar.
• 1 Male cap,
• 1 NRFit "low resistance" plastic syringe 10ml,
• 1 yellow label epidural identification.
