At the beginning of 2000, Vygon commenced a project of continuous improvement towards the furtherance of environmental protection.

The result was a defined environmental policy which was validated by the award of ISO 14 001 certification for Vygon's principle production site in France.

As a member of the community Vygon is committed towards manufacturing and sterilising its products in such a way as to contribute towards the protection of the environment.


Meeting this challenge requires:

• An efficient regulation monitoring system that ensures full compliance with all current environmental regulation;
  
  
• Minimisation of industrial effects on, and risks to, the environment with the goal of preventing accidents and contamination;
  
  
• Improved waste management within the company;
  
  
• Awareness-raising efforts and training for employees;
  
  
• An open dialogue with concerned parties and the public, based on improved dissemination of information

All these actions are carried out as part of a continuous improvement approach.
