The Faucher tube is a transparent PVC gastric tube featuring a large diameter inserted through the mouth of the patient in the stomach for emergency suctioning and washout. It is used, for example, in the treatment of acute drug intoxication. The Faucher tube is 150 cm long, with open end and 4 lateral eyes and with markings every 5 cm from 15 to 75 cm.
The Faucher tube is available in size 27 Fr, 30 Fr, 33 Fr and 36 Fr.
