Polyurethane extension tube with additional access port
Lumen 1 (length 17 cm): incorporates a clamp, a 0.22µm, 96 hour bacterial and endotoxin retentive filter and a non-return valve – Flow rate: 6 ml/min. Note: the air-eliminating filter is not suitable for blood, blood products or lipids. Needle-free access port (length 4 cm): with Bionector and clamp, located below the non-return valve. Ready-Set “Feed” enables the user to infuse via the 96 hour filter and as necessary add supplementary infusions and bolus downstream, e.g. amino-acids and/or lipids or a background infusion and a micro-bolus of antibiotics.
Priming volume: 0.85 ml – Flow rate: 170 ml/min.
