Leader-Cuff

Polyurethane catheter for long-term venous access.
I.V. catheter in fully radiopaque, biostable polyurethane for parenteral nutrition, administration of medication, chemotherapy, etc.
With subcutaneous cuff and VyflowTM flow regulator.
Leader-Cuff is inserted by percutaneous puncture (peel-apart Desilet), but can also be inserted by venous cut-down.
-Graduations each centimetre from 5 to 24 cm
-Tunnelling needle (type 2183.15) supplied with the tray
-Subcutaneous cuff at 25 cm from the distal tip
-Detachable compression hub: tunnelling can be carried out before or after the catheter is introduced into the vein
-New biostable polyurethane for long-term implantation
-Polyurethane has excellent mechanical resistance, thermosensitivity and haemocompatibility
-Winged hub allowing the catheter to be flushed before insertion
-Vyflow TM flow regulator (on/off).

-1 PUR catheter (XRO) with detachable winged hub
-1 Desilet with peel-apart sheath type 1146 with 18G introducer needle and “J” guidewire, length 53 cm
-1 tunnelling needle (type 2183.15)
-1 Vyflow flow regulator (type 1297)
-1 fixation wing
-1 injection cap
-1 10 ml syringe
-1 scalpel.
